1.This site is a confidential online tool, operated by Deloitte to allow Marchesan’s employees and partners to question and report suspected violations of the Code of Conduct, its policies/or applicable laws and regulations. The use of this site is completely voluntary. We urge you to report possible violations directly to your immediate superior, to the Compliance Supervisory Board and/or one of Marchesan’s Ethics Committees. However, if you feel more comfortable and secure, you may use this channel to make your report.
Please be aware that the information supplied about you and your coworkers, or any aspect of Marchesan’s operations, may result in decisions affecting other people. For this reason, we ask you to only provide information that you know to be correct and true. MARCHESAN will not retaliate against you for any report of suspected violations of the law and/or Code of Conduct made in good faith, even if it is later proven incorrect or unfounded.
However, you must be aware that intentionally providing false or misleading information will not be tolerated. Anonymous reports are accepted, but it is recommended that you leave some sort of identification or contact information so we may monitor your case and answer possible questions. In both situations, the information that you send will be treated in an absolutely confidential and classified manner.
What type of information is collected?
The Reporting Channel captures the following information:
I) description of the suspected violation of the Code of Conduct, law or to corporate policies, company’s standards and procedures, including all relevant facts and details;
II)the name, position and place of work of all the individuals mentioned in the report;
III) if you wish to provide, your name and contact details (to allow us to contact you to clarify any doubts);
IV) any questions you may have regarding the Code of Ethics and Conduct and the functioning of the Marchesan’s Reports Channel.
How will the information be used?
The information you provide will be stored on servers hosted by Deloitte in Brazil. Unless required by law, the information contained in the Marchesan’s Reports Channel database can be analyzed and used only by individuals who need to access the data to complete their tasks. These individuals include the employees responsible for the Ethics Commission, external consultants, who may be brought in to assist in the investigation of the report, regulatory bodies and the Deloitte team responsible for providing the Marchesan’s Reports Channel.
the Marchesan will evaluate the information provided by you and may, if necessary, conduct an investigation. Your cooperation and assistance in such investigation may be necessary. If an investigation indicates that there has been a violation of the Code of Conduct, the Marchesan Internal Policies, and / or applicable legislation and regulations, the Marchesan will take appropriate action according to the circumstances.
The Company will take appropriate technical, organizational and legal measures to protect the information provided. The Company also requires Deloitte to adequately protect your personal data and not to use them for unauthorized purposes.
2. The content, photographs, marks, titles, sounds, videos, data, are Deloitte’s and / or the Company’s property and its reproduction, transmission, exploitation, storage or any use is not authorized. The user assumes all responsibility, civil and / or criminal, for the improper use of any and all material on the website.
3. The provision of appropriate conditions of access to the Internet is the responsibility of the service provider contracted by the user for such purpose. In case of loss of connection to the Internet, at the time of recording an account and / or sending information, no compensation will be due from Deloitte, and the user will accept the implication of any failure.
4. The content of the reports filled in the electronic form of the website is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the user. Deloitte shall not be liable for any damages allegedly arising from third party reports.
5. Deloitte does not register the IP which the user accessed the website.
6. Reports can be registered anonymously whenever the user wishes.
7. Any unauthorized access to private areas of the website, as well as attempts or consummation of access to the source code, will be considered acts of violation, being properly treated according to the current criminal law.
